Hamad International Airport (DOH) has introduced a free wellness facility, Travel Recovery Studio, at ORCHARD in Concourse C. experience It is designed to help passengers recover and recharge while on the move.
Running from September 6 to October 25, 2026, the Travel Recovery Studio will offer guided 20-minute sessions that combine breathing techniques, gentle stretching, and movement on a red light therapy recovery mat. This session uses warm, low-level light to encourage relaxation. This instructor-led session is designed to help passengers relieve tension, improve comfort, and feel refreshed before their next flight.
The experience takes place inside ORCHARD, a 6,000 square meter indoor tropical garden with more than 300 trees and 35,000 plants from around the world. This space provides an environment where passengers can take a break from the pace of travel.
Hamad Airport said the initiative reflects its broader focus on supporting passengers’ comfort and well-being while traveling, and provides an opportunity for travelers to pause and take advantage of their layover time.
A living ecosystem inside the terminal
Since opening in 2022, The Orchard has become one of Hamad Airport’s most recognizable spaces, combining nature, art, dining and retail. The space features bronze sculptures from artists Jilly and Mark’s Wildlife Wonderscape collection and is surrounded by hospitality venues including Qatar Airways’ Al Mourjan Business Lounge, Yannick Alléno’s Louis Vuitton Lounge and the Dior Spa.
ORCHARD continues to develop as a living ecosystem, with orchids, water lilies and lotuses blooming throughout the space, and the recently introduced Japanese carp. Advanced irrigation and climate control systems maintain the conditions necessary for gardens to grow year-round.
The Travel Recovery Studio is open to passengers aged 18 and over, but is at capacity and sessions run Sunday to Thursday from 16:30 to 19:30.
