Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline, has introduced Etihad Wellbeing, a new program that combines the airline’s latest product and service enhancements designed to help guests travel more comfortably and arrive feeling rested and refreshed.
Etihad Wellbeing offers guests the opportunity to maintain healthy lifestyle habits while traveling with a growing collection of products and experiences that promote restful and restorative travel experiences.
The program covers every touchpoint, from a dedicated quiet space and a relaxing pre-departure spa treatment in the Etihad Lounge at Zayed International Airport, to luxurious amenities, natural bedding, nutritious food options and vitamin and electrolyte drinks to keep you hydrated on board.
Jyotsna Chowdhury, Vice President, Product and Hospitality, Etihad Airways, said: “Research shows that as people fly more frequently, they are increasingly looking for ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle while traveling. Etihad Welfare ing is our commitment to making the flying experience as relaxing and restful as possible. We have implemented a wide range of practical improvements across our cabins and services, all designed to help our guests arrive better rested and refreshed.”
“Whether it’s a quieter onboard environment, premium skin care, improved sleep amenities, or content that helps our guests relax on long journeys, these are real products and experiences that make a difference when traveling. We are creating a more thoughtful and resilient travel experience, inspired by the warmth and care of the United Arab Emirates.”
Etihad Airways offers a wide range of dining options to support a healthy lifestyle, including nutritious, protein-rich dishes, plant-forward options and a wide range of special diets for those on specialist diets for health, wellbeing or religious reasons.
First and The Residences offer natural cotton bedding, memory foam mattresses, and premium sleepwear designed to create a comfortable sleeping environment onboard. In the business sector, Etihad Airways recently introduced a new Destination Collection amenity kit featuring skincare products from Korean beauty brand LANEIGE, including a water sleeping mask, lip sleeping mask and hand cream. Etihad Airways was the first airline to partner with LANEIGE and is currently the only airline to offer the brand’s products onboard.
Guests staying in First will also receive ESPA’s premium skincare amenities, as well as facial sheet masks and under-eye masks to help restore and rejuvenate your skin during your flight.
Etihad Airways will also launch a new signature scent onboard and in the airline’s lounges. The unique scent has been specially designed for Etihad Airways, creating a warm, calming and welcoming atmosphere.
The program also includes Etihad’s Quiet Cabin initiative, which reduces non-essential announcements and supports a calmer cabin environment. Guests can also access meditation, stretching and sleep content through Etihad Airways’ in-flight entertainment, and many aircraft are equipped with lighting designed to support rest and reduce jet lag on long-haul travel.
Etihad Wellbeing continues to improve the guest experience with continuous upgrades as the airline develops new ways to make air travel even more special.
