Travel warning for football fans heading to Coventry City vs. Brighton

Travel agency bosses have issued a warning to football fans attending the Coventry City vs Brighton game on Sunday afternoon, September 13th.

More than 30,000 fans are expected to be at Coventry Building Society Arena as Frank Lampard’s side aim for their first points of the season after returning to the Premier League.

However, this inevitably places a strain on local services. West Midlands Railway issued a warning to travelers on social media.

Six hours before kickoff, a spokesperson urged people to “please check before traveling.” “Coventry City FC will kick-off at 2pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena, taking on Brighton & Hove Albion.

“Additional shuttle services will be introduced to help move passengers between Coventry and Coventry Arena.”

As always, Jimmy Hill Way will also be closed after the game to allow pedestrian fans to exit the stadium.

After three games without a goal, the Sky Blues are keen to start the season and hope to get something from a very in-form Brighton side.
